A New Italian Brand Identity for Masterful Cheese Products

For Royal A-ware, we developed the complete brand identity and packaging design for Maestri del Re — the new umbrella Italian cheese brand for both retail and foodservice.
A strategic journey in which brand strategy, design and brand architecture came together to create one powerful and future-proof brand concept.

Why One Brand: Maestri del Re?

To create more cohesion, clarity and international recognition within the Italian cheese assortment, we chose to build one strong brand that unites all product categories.

Maestri del Re — “Masters of the King”
The name represents:

The brand is positioned to be successfully introduced across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North America, serving both retail and foodservice markets.

Brand Strategy & Positioning

We developed a brand identity that:

-radiates trust and professionalism

feels unmistakably Italian, yet avoids clichés such as landscapes or stereotypical photography

– uses colour coding to ensure clear product differentiation

– allows room for growth across multiple categories

The style is contemporary, clear and premium without becoming excessive — perfectly aligned with the international playing field of Royal A-ware.

Logo Development & Design System

The existing logo was evolved into a modern, recognisable and scalable brandmark.
The new design system offers:

– one unified visual language for all product lines

– elegant premium details that express craftsmanship

– a structure that can be easily applied to future SKUs and packaging formats

This forms the visual foundation for the entire brand.

Packaging Design (Five SKUs)

For the initial product launch, we developed a clear and internationally deployable packaging design with:

– a strong hierarchy in brand and product information

– clear colour distinction for each variant

– application-focused photography that highlights product quality and usage
