Packaging Design for Oriental Delight – Modern, Stylish Brand Identity for ALDI Netherlands’ Asian-Inspired Ready Meals
Following last year’s redesign of the Oriental Delight logo, the sleeves for ALDI Netherlands’ single-serve Asian-inspired meals have also been updated. The new packaging features appetizing top-down product photography, showcasing the meals plated for an inviting, high-quality presentation. This fresh approach enhances the product’s appeal to consumers.
The product name is displayed in bright colors and modern sans-serif typography above the image, creating a contemporary look. In addition, custom icons were developed to indicate spiciness, preparation time, and serving size, ensuring the information is quick and easy to understand.
The meal’s ingredients, also photographed from above, are arranged together with other graphic elements on a bamboo mat. This mat matches the product’s color coding, creating a recognizable and consistent visual identity.
With this refreshed design, ALDI’s Asian-inspired meals are not only more visually appealing but also more user-friendly. The design is modern, stylish, and provides consumers with clarity and convenience.
